For many women, maintaining their beauty can feel like a catch-22. While society encourages women to beauty themselves up (apply make up, style hair, paint nails, shave legs, etc), it simultaneously criticizes women for being “high-maintenance.” While the problem is societal, women can do their part by not criticizing other women for taking the time to look nice.
