Grab your family, and come join the Southlake Women’s Club for their annual Art in the Square event!

This wonderful, family-friendly event is completely open to the public and has been an integral part of the Southlake community since 2000. Since its first year, the annual event has raised more than $2 million for charitable organizations that serve women and families in Tarrant County, Texas.

What Is Art in the Square?

The entire Art in the Square event is run by volunteers and delivers fine art to the residents of Tarrant County. Each year over 150 renowned artists exhibit and sell their beautiful and unique artwork. Each artist has been carefully selected by a jury, and their work is sure to excite you. By simply walking through this fantastic art fair, you can satisfy your senses with several different types of art that are both thought-provoking and beautiful. Photography, jewelry, 2D drawings, 3D art, and sculptures are just a few of the media types that will be exhibited this year at Art in the Square.

What Makes It Family-Friendly?

art in the squareIf you think walking from tent to tent to see juried art exhibits sounds boring, you’d be wrong! This event is packed with fun activities like concerts, face painting, bouncy houses, craft tables, and more. It’s sure to be a blast for everyone in your family.

While you’re browsing the tents of emerging and local artists, your kids can have fun at the Zone. Here, they’ll be able to participate in a number of games and jump through fun, inflatable obstacle courses. Plus, your little ones can also participate in numerous craft tables and bring home their own unique pieces of art!

What better way to spend a weekend than basking in the culture of different art forms in your own backyard? The annual Art in the Square in Southlake has free admission and parking and is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (April 24-26) for you and your family to enjoy.
