Dr. Nayif Alnaif joined North Texas Plastic Surgery after completing his plastic surgery training at the prestigious McGill University Residency Training Program in Montreal, Canada. Following his residency, Dr. Alnaif successfully passed the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Exam and became a fellow of the college.
The Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship for Dr. Alnaif at North Texas Plastic Surgery will run from July 2019 to June 2020. He looks forward to providing North Texas Plastic Surgery patients with the highest quality of care using proven modern techniques to enhance the beauty and confidence of his patients. Dr. Alnaif strives to guide each patient to discover what is best for them and contribute to their quality of life and overall health and well-being. He’s able to provide services in English, Arabic, and French.
Dr. Alnaif is the eldest of five siblings and grew up in South Carolina. He enjoys traveling, notably to Plastic Surgery conferences in the US and around the world. He spends his free time biking, playing basketball, and socializing with friends. He looks forward to his time in Dallas.
Education & Accomplishments
Before pursuing plastic surgery, Dr. Alnaif trained in highly-respected General Surgery programs at Einstein Health Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Mercy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During this time, Dr. Alnaif realized his passion for aesthetic surgery techniques and pursued a career in plastic surgery. After completing his fellowship at North Texas Plastic Surgery, Dr. Alnaif will join Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, in the Breast Microsurgery Department.
Dr. Alnaif has peer-reviewed scientific articles for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open Journal, Canada Communicable Disease Report Journal, Modern Plastic Surgery Journal, and Wounds Journal. During his time in Canada and Pennsylvania, Dr. Nayif Alnaif devoted time to giving back through volunteer work. He offered medical screening at Football Little League in North Philadelphia as well as Breast Cancer Awareness “BRA DAY” Division of Plastic Surgery in Montreal. Dr. Alnaif also volunteered in the Surgical Exploration and Discovery (SEAD) program in 2016 and 2017. As a Resident Consultant volunteer while in Montreal, he worked to establish and implement treatment protocols for leaches use, dangling protocol and sitting protocol in the MUHC.
