Patients who received lip injection treatments with hyaluronic acid found reduced symptoms of muscular dystrophy. Some received a six-fold increase in their lip strength. All patients noticed a large improvement after treatment in their ability to eat, speak, and drink. A study with over 100 patients to receive these injection treatments is planned soon.
