At North Texas Plastic Surgery, we recognize the importance of accommodating our patients’ busy schedules and unique needs—and are pleased to offer virtual consultations for our plastic surgery procedures. This approach has been incredibly helpful for patients who have challenges in finding childcare, taking time off work, managing hectic schedules, or making the trip to our office, as well as for those who have difficulty speaking about private matters in a face-to-face conversation.

Do Virtual Consultations Work?

Virtual consultations at North Texas Plastic Surgery are effective because they are private, efficient, and thorough. They are no different from an in-person consultation and includes many of the features you can expect during an in-person meeting, such as a thorough review of your medical history, from allergies to chronic conditions. Please be sure to disclose any medications, vitamins, or natural supplements you are taking to our medical team.

Next, we will conduct a virtual examination of the areas you want to address surgically. We will listen to your concerns and recommend the safest procedures for you. Not every patient is suitable for every procedure: If you are not a good candidate for your chosen surgical procedure, we may recommend you opt for alternate surgical procedures or find an alternative non-surgical treatment to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

Traditional consultations involve physically assessing how we can enhance your body. This might include taking photos, having you try on prosthetics, or measuring your body dimensions. With our virtual consultations, we can still make that assessment! We have software that can create 3D images of you from the comfort of your own home and we can digitally enhance these images to show how we can transform your body. Together, we will devise the perfect surgical strategy that meets your needs.

Once you are happy with the surgical plan, we will share these images with you, so you can discuss and obtain feedback from your close friends and family. There is no rush for you to make your decision—we want you to be happy with the results!
