21 Things You Should Know Before Getting a Boob Job

Are you thinking about getting a breast augmentation? There are 21 things you should know before you do it.

For instance, your first breast augmentation will likely not be your last. Over 25% of women who have the surgery find themselves needing another one after 10 years simply because they don’t last forever.

Be sure you are also aware of the price tag of a breast augmentation and how it fits into your budget. A quality breast augmentation can cost upwards of $4,000 or more and can contain hidden costs as well, such as anesthesia, materials, etc.

You should also prepare to take up to a week off for recovery time. You won’t feel completely better after that week, but you may feel well enough to return to work, depending on how strenuous your job is. If you have to do a lot of standing and walking, you may need to take more time off.

Implants feel much different than natural breasts. Silicone may feel similar, but it is still synthetic. Large implants are easy to detect, but smaller ones and those placed under the muscle are harder to notice.
