Jeremy Bosworth, M.D.

Dr. Jeremy Bosworth is the Aesthetic Surgery Fellow at North Texas Plastic Surgery for 2022 – 2023. He is a fully trained, board eligible Plastic Surgeon who feels that his patients deserve for their surgeon to have the very best training and expertise. This is why he decided to pursue additional training at the competitive Aesthetic Society endorsed fellowship at North Texas Plastic Surgery.

Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Bosworth was a leader from a young age. He has played hockey and football, as well as many other sports his whole life, and has been captain of many of the teams he played for. That tradition of leadership has continued throughout his life and career.

He obtained a bachelors degree from the University of Arizona in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. Initially planning a career in the FBI or to attend law school, he is one of the rare people who has taken both the LSAT and MCAT. He eventually decided to follow the path to medical school where he attended St. George’s University School of Medicine. During his time there he served on the Student Government Association as the Vice President and was also nominated for the White Coat Award of Professionalism.

After medical school he completed a General Surgery residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY and as Chief Resident he was honored with the Resident Teacher of the Year Award. It was throughout his years of General Surgery where he worked closely with the Plastic Surgeons and developed a true love for the field. His passion was rooted in the complexity and broadness of the challenges, the ability to use a unique set of skills and creativeness, helping people regain form and function, and being able to take the journey with his patients trying to achieve their own unique goals for themselves.

He then attended and completed his training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), learning from world renowned surgeons in all areas of Plastic Surgery. Here he was able to obtain an incredible clinical and academic experience forming the base for the surgeon he is today. In addition to the very high case volume and the extremely broad and complex patient population he served, he was also able to publish on a variety of topics, including papers and book chapters on aesthetic surgery, revision breast surgery, autologous fat grafting, and more. During his time at UAB, he was lucky enough to be invited on a medical mission trip to Honduras where he was able to use his skills to help the underserved population there. In his final year he served as the administrative Chief Resident.

Outside of work Dr. Bosworth enjoys spending time with his family including his amazing wife and their kids, being outdoors, working out, and playing sports. You can also find him watching his beloved Los Angeles sports teams, or doing some sort of project, as he prides himself on being able to fix just about anything.
