Grant Bond, M.D.

Dr. Grant Bond is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon at North Texas Plastic Surgery. He brings a broad background in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, with clinical interests that include breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, implant revision, gynecomastia surgery, tummy tuck, liposuction, mommy makeover procedures, facial surgery, skin cancer reconstruction, and wound care. His approach is thoughtful and detail-oriented, with an emphasis on patient education, careful planning, and natural-appearing results that align with each patient’s goals.
Dr. Bond grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, before attending Duke University, where he studied computer science with a minor in chemistry. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College, then completed a five-year general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He went on to complete plastic surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he served as Education Chief Resident and helped lead resident teaching and curriculum development.
Before joining North Texas Plastic Surgery, Dr. Bond practiced at East Alabama Plastic Surgery, where he provided a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures and participated in multidisciplinary care through East Alabama Medical Center. He served on the Physician Advisory Council, the Breast Cancer Center of Excellence Committee, and as the plastic surgery representative for the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Bond has been recognized for both clinical care and teaching, including being named a 2026 Top Doctor by Fort Worth Magazine, receiving the East Alabama Health CHOICE Award, and earning the Chief Resident Teaching Award during general surgery residency. His academic work includes research on breast reconstruction outcomes, socioeconomic status, race, microsurgical reconstruction, nerve reconstruction, and surgical education.
Outside the office, Dr. Bond is family focused and enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Brittney Heard, and their sons, Beau and August. He also enjoys playing guitar and piano, studying art, history, and Japanese culture, caring for bonsai and aquariums, watch collecting, and chess.
