Science and studies have proven for years that exercise is great for your body and your health, but can it be good for your skin as well? You can work out your face just like you work out your muscles. Facial exercise is based on the belief that the muscles in your face can be toned just like the other muscles in your body. Some of the benefits of facial exercises are tighter, plumper, and fuller-looking skin.
When you do facial exercises, you are helping to re-contour your face. As you age, you begin to lose collagen in your skin, which results in sagging and wrinkles. By building your facial muscles, you can help fill spots that may be affected by collagen reduction. Just like your biceps and triceps get larger when you work out, your cheeks can fill in when you do these exercises for your face.
Facial exercises also help increase the circulation in your blood, which helps promote healthy, glowing skin. You will also release tension and line reduction, and rejuvenate your skin. By doing this, you are naturally filling your skin, which will help increase volume and make your cheekbones look fuller.
