Thinking about getting a face lift or BOTOX® to look years younger? You may want to try the face exercises here before heading out for any procedure. These exercises are effective and, better yet, free! You can reduce your baggy, puffy eyes; crow’s feet; and droopy eyelids by doing a simple “V” exercise. While this may seem more like a massage than an exercise, you are stimulating and working your skin. If you have concerns about your sagging cheeks, make an “O” shape with your mouth, and smile while doing this. Repeat this and the “V” exercise six times. Think about them as reps and sets for your face.
Try this for a few weeks, and see if you notice any difference in your appearance. If you are truly concerned about wrinkles and sagging skin in your face, you may want to consult with your doctor about other treatments available to you, such as BOTOX.
While there is no clinical research that proves facial exercises actually work, Dr. Francis Papay states that they work the neck muscles, which may tighten your skin along the jawline. Other experts are skeptical, stating that these exercises might not work.
