Do Facial Exercises Work Just Like Plastic Surgery?

Are you a firm believer or skeptical observer to the belief that facial exercise has the same effects as plastic surgery? According to the American Academy of Dermatology, facial exercises may do more harm than good. This is because you could over manipulate your skin and develop more wrinkles than you might get to begin with! If you already have wrinkles and saggy skin, there are no exercises you can do that will eliminate them.

As we age, our skin begins to droop, fine lines and wrinkles appear on our faces and necks, and the inevitable old age catches up to us. We also speed up the signs of aging by smoking and being out in the sun too long without proper protection such as a hat, scarf, and sunblock. Gravity is also another enemy to our skin.

Women and men are both concerned about looking old, especially when they start to develop wrinkles at an early age. Stress and a hard life also contribute to the signs of aging. If you are concerned about the signs of aging, consult a dermatologist to find out what your options are to stay looking young as long as you can.
