Liposuction 360 in Dallas and Plano

Liposuction 360 in Dallas and Plano

At North Texas Plastic Surgery, we are always looking to provide the latest and most cutting-edge treatments for our clients. Liposuction 360 (also known as Lipo 360) involves utilizing liposuction all around the torso for 360-degree results. It not only permanently blasts fat away, but it also helps define and tone the underlying muscle to help you achieve results that you can truly be proud of.

Let’s dig a little deeper into how Liposuction 360 in Dallas and Plano works!

What Is Liposuction 360?

Lipo 360 in Dallas is an advanced body contouring procedure that applies targeted liposuction all around the torso. It is performed from under the breast to the pubic bone, from armpit to hip, and from shoulder blade to the top of the buttocks. The difference between Lipo 360 and traditional liposuction is that it not only permanently blasts fat away, but it also tones your underlying muscle, providing chiseled definition. This takes your results even further!

The Lipo 360 Procedure

This procedure is performed under general anesthesia, at our in-office surgical facility in Dallas, Plano, or Southlake. Lipo 360 uses power-assisted liposuction for effective fat cell removal that is faster but also minimizes bruising.

Liposuction is performed around the torso, including the back, sides, and mid-section. It can slim and contour the waistline, address “love handles,” and eliminate the “muffin top” area, allowing you to wear more revealing outfits with confidence.

The Recovery Phases of Liposuction 360

There are three recovery phases to this surgery: immediate, intermediate, and long term. In the immediate, post-operative recovery phase, we will provide you with two surgical garments. One will be a hard form surgical garment, fastened together with Velcro in the back, and the other will be a full body garment, which is made of a tighter spandex material. Both garments will allow for good compression to the treatment area to limit the swelling and help your body heal.

During the immediate recovery phase, you will notice you are more swollen and bruised, especially around the treatment areas. This is normal and the compression will allow you to heal faster. It is very important that you wear your compression garments around the clock for the first three weeks. You will also have to drink more fluids, which will allow your body to manage the swelling and heal faster.

Intermediate and Long-Term Recovery

During the intermediate phase of your recovery period, a substantial amount of the swelling will go down and you will start seeing the results of your definition. At this point, we recommend wearing your compression garment for 12 hours at a time, though you can wear it for longer if you like. You may also find that a lymphatic massage is helpful and relaxing.

After six weeks, you will begin the long-term phase of your recovery, which will last up to six months. During this period, you will begin to see your final results, as you lose the last and most stubborn bit of the swelling.

Throughout your recovery period and beyond, Lipo 360 should be augmented with a good diet and proper exercise, which will make those results look even better!
